Twenty-first century Editors was founded in Mexico in 1966 by a group that today we would consider civil society, made up of artists, intellectuals, writers, businessmen and university students. These long decades of fruitful editorial work have allowed us to build a rich and diverse catalog in terms of authors and topics, with emphasis on the social sciences, the humanities and the dissemination of science, maintaining the premise of high editorial quality and an excellent academic level. For more than half a century they have assumed the risk associated with the free dissemination of thought, especially critical, particularly in the fateful years of the late sixties. Today the editorial task faces new challenges: legal, technological and cultural, in a globalized world. In Mexico, the publisher publishes around 50 new releases and around 200 reprints annually; its editorial collection is present in important bookstores and libraries around the world.
