The National Office of Statistics and Information (ONEI) is the national entity, subordinate to the Council of Ministers, in charge of directing the National Statistical System and responsible for the methodological direction of the Government Information System (SiGob), which includes its organization, coordination, integration and control. Taking into account the general nature and scope of its mission throughout the country, its system has a vertical structure.
