Publishing house founded on July 1, 1980 with the aim of uniting under its seal, children's and youth periodicals, as well as developing the production of books of diverse profiles. It publishes emblematic Cuban magazines such as Zunzún, designed for students from first to fourth grade; Pioneer, dedicated to students of basic secondary education —between 12 and 15 years old—; We are Young, with a target public of upper secondary education —between 14 and 20 years old—; Technical Youth, of a popular scientific-technical nature, aimed at young people interested in these topics; Alma Mater, focused on a public of university students, students and professors and El Caimán Barbudo, focused on young people with concerns related to cultural activity.
