Belonging to the Union of Cuban Journalists, it was founded on December 12, 1985 with the aim of guaranteeing the necessary bibliography for journalism professionals and students in the country. The profile was extended to social communication, journalistic graphics and culture. Since then it has published more than 300 titles, of which more than 150 are of a technical-professional nature.
