is the publishing house that since 1967 has specialized in the publication of books for children, adolescents and young people, by Cuban and foreign authors, both classic and contemporary. Since 1972, it annually organizes the Golden Age Award, one of the most important of its kind in the country, to promote the work of new Cuban writers. It organizes the Children's Pavilion at the International Book Fair in Havana. With around twenty collections, it tries to put in the hands of its public a work of proven quality, and of careful edition and design, which also serves as support for school curricula and contributes to increase reading habits in the youngest.
