Main publishing label of the University of Havana. It was created by virtue of Rectoral Resolution No. 1371, dated December 24, 2009, based on a project to refound the former University of Havana Publishing House. A sui generis project, it is now incorporated into the Department of Academic Publications of the University of Havana. It is in charge of publishing, promoting and marketing high-impact academic journals and books, for the dissemination of new knowledge generated by the University of Havana from its research activity; It also constitutes a teaching and scientific research unit associated with the editorial universe.
