Pedro Pablo Rodríguez

Historian and journalist. General Director, at the Center for Martian Studies, of the Complete Works, critical edition of José Martí. Doctor of Historical Sciences. Academician of Merit of the Academy of Sciences of Cuba and vice president of the Academy of History of Cuba. Full professor at the University of Havana and the Enrique José Varona Higher Pedagogical Institute, in Havana. He has taught numerous undergraduate and postgraduate courses, in master's degrees, diplomas and doctorates in Cuban Revolutionary Thought, History of Cuba, History of Cuban Economic Thought and Life and Work of José Martí. He has researched and published about twenty books on various topics of Cuban history and thought, in particular about the patriotic movement during the 19th century, the life and work of José Martí, the life of Máximo Gómez, Cuban economic thought and Cuba-United States relations.
