Tsai García

PhD in Biological Sciences. She is a Consultant Professor at the Marine Research Center (CIM), of the University of Havana, where she began her professional life as a teacher and researcher, in September 1970; Her teaching and research experience in Marine Biology has had Emphasis in Ecology, Phytogeography and Taxonomy of Marine Macroalgae. He has published numerous articles and book chapters, and received several awards and recognitions, among them, the Medal for Cuban Education, and the National Award for Marine Sciences. He is a permanent member of the International Committee of the Phycological Society of Latin America and the Caribbean.
