Biblioteca Nacional de Cuba José Martí
Depositary of the documentary, bibliographic, artistic and sound heritage treasure of Cuba, as well as the most representative of universal culture, she oversees the National System of Cuban Public Libraries which accounts for more than 400 libraries across the entire national territory in order to preserve the bibliographic heritage and historical. Founded on October 18, 1901, since then it offers the possibility of interacting with culture, science, history and art that with zeal and love protects and invites researchers, students, teachers and readers in general to relate to Cuban cultural, scientific and artistic creation, which day by day increases its contribution to national and universal culture.
