Carmen Castro Porta

Carmen Castro Porta (Nenein). She was a prominent Cuban revolutionary, who had founded and directed, together with Aida Pelayo, Eva Jiménez and other fighters, the Civic Front of Women for José Martí (constituted on January 10, 1953) and who maintained a clear path of struggle before and after the triumph of the Revolution. She is the author of the book The Master's Lesson.
