Juan Domingo Perón

Military, politician, essayist and relevant Argentine president, the only citizen elected president of the Argentine Nation on three occasions: the first between 1946 and 1952, the second, between 1952 and 1958 (which he was unable to complete due to the military coup that overthrew him on September 16, 1955 and exiled him), and the third on September 23, 1973, after 18 years of exile for the period 1973-1979, which he could not complete due to his death. During his government, he defended women's right to vote and encouraged important progressive initiatives. He inspired Peronism, one of the most important popular movements in the history of Argentina.
