Eduardo del Río (Rius)

He was an outstanding Mexican cartoonist and writer. Known artistically as Rius. He consecrated himself as one of the writers who with an extroverted language made several generations of Mexicans reflect and laugh. Considered one of the deans of political caricature. Winner of the National Prize for Journalism in Caricature (1987), La Catrina (2004) and the First Recognition of Caricature Gabriel Vargas (2016).
