Erick González Bello

Researcher and professor of Anthropology, Cuban Music and Cuban Theater at the Universidad Central Marta Abreu de Las Villas, Cuba. He was associated with the Provincial Registry of Cultural Assets of Villa Clara, the House of Culture of Remedios, where he was choral director of the groups Calendario (1997-1999) and Aldaba (2003-2013) and the Museum of the Parrandas. In 2008 he published “La africanía en las parrandas remedianas”, co-authored with Sulma Rojas Molina, followed by a dozen essays with the Cuban Institute of Cultural Research Juan Marinello, the Capiro Publishing House, the National Council of Cultural Heritage and the Spanish Academic Publishing House. His articles have appeared in magazines such as Islas, Signos, Umbral and Del Caribe.
