Museo Nacional de Historia Natural de Cuba

Scientific and cultural institution, specialized in natural history. It generates and preserves collections of these profiles, studies them, and socializes mainly through exhibitions. Located in the Plaza de Armas, in the historic center of Old Havana, it opened for the first time to the public, on May 26, 1964, in areas of the Havana Capitol. The Museum's essential mission is to collect, research, conserve, and exhibit natural objects to promote scientific and cultural knowledge of nature.
