Héctor Rodríguez Llompart

Trained in Public Administration Law, Degree in Administrative Law and also in Economics. He actively participated in the clandestine struggle against the Batista dictatorship and was part of the July 26 Movement since 1955, in which he held different responsibilities. He was imprisoned and tortured in October 1957. At the triumph of the Revolution, he was part of the Provincial Directorate of the July 26 Movement in Matanzas. He is the founder of the Communist Party of Cuba and a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party from the First Congress of the PCC in 1975 to the V Congress of the PCC. He has received numerous national and international decorations; among them, the 2nd Degree Internationalist Struggle medal. He has represented Cuba in numerous international events and in official visits to other countries. He is a graduate of Administrative Law and Public Administration, and a Bachelor of Economics.
