Luis E. Ramos Guadalupe
He is a Cuban intellectual and professor, specialized in the History of Science and, in particular, in the work of Benito Viñes, to whose study he has made important contributions. He has been a member of the Cuban Academy of Sciences and currently of the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana. It is the Juan Andrés Prize for Essay and Research in Human Sciences. Professor of Science and Geography (1979), Head of Chair and Methodologist of Geography. Founding member of the Meteorological Society of Cuba (1992). In 1993 he joined the Cuban Academy of Sciences (currently the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment) dedicated to the National Museum of Natural History (1993-2001). Between 2001-2006 he worked at the National Museum of History of Sciences "Carlos J. Finlay" (2001-2006), among other positions. He is currently a member of the Office of the Historian of Havana.
