Capiro is an institution inserted in the reality of Villaclare, with its own personality. The publishing house has contributed greatly to awaken the interest in the study of Villaclarean literature in the academic circles of the region, and there are already many theses of university students dedicated to investigate the life and work of writers from this geographical area. But this does not mean that it should be considered closed in an exclusively regional perspective. It is also the publishing house of the Centro Provincial del Libro y la Literatura, which gives it a notable relevance in terms of its territorial scope, which goes far beyond our region. And this is not so because it has included non-Villaclarean authors, but also because of its sales and promotion actions.
