Founded in 1967, since then it offers a set of works that bring together the most innovative and current studies on social sciences in Cuba. For more than 40 years it has disclosed everything related to politics, sociology, history, philosophy and the rest of the human sciences. It publishes important works on topics as dissimilar as economics, politics, history, philosophy, law, ethnology, linguistics, sociology and social psychology, many of them organized in collections such as "Biography", "Campaign Literature", "Marxist Library", among others.
