Nancy Machado Lorenzo

Her work as a professional for more than 30 years at the National Library of Cuba earned her many awards and distinctions. She represented the Cuban library guild in many international activities and events, such as ABINIA, ACURIL and made working visits to different countries, always carrying the feelings and work developed by the librarians of our country. Her work as a researcher of the Map Library of the National Library was developed until the last moment of her life, because she was a great fighter and selfless professional who earned with her example, the respect and admiration of the whole collective of the BNCJM and the SNBP, as a member of the Ministry of Culture and as a human being.
