Alejandro Barro Cañamero

Doctor in Biological Sciences. He has been first vice-president of the Cuban Society of Zoology. He has taught numerous courses on subjects related to Entomology, Invertebrate Zoology, Ecology, Comparative Anatomy of Invertebrates, and Zoological Taxonomy. He specializes in the ecology of lepidopteran assemblages, the natural history of the species of andemic butterflies and moths of Cuba, as well as the reproductive biology of these insects. He is the author and co-author of numerous works with national and international scope.
